This November I returned to the North Island for a week fly fishing the Hawkes Bay region with Peter Godfrey. We explored sections of the Rangitikei, Taruarau and Ngararoro Rivers, camping at many spectacular places. We predominately caught Rainbows around 45 and 55cm lengths along with the occasional Brown. I was impressed with the speed ...continue reading Fraser Perry – Hawkes Bay

Earlier in November I explored the Geehi, Upper Swampy Plains and Murray Rivers in NSW with Eddie Savkovic. Warm temperatures, an abundance of insects and feeding fish made for a satisfying weekend ...continue reading Fraser Perry – Southern Snowies
Last weekend I explored two new alpine waters in the Snowy Mountains with Tumut local Trent Jeffrey. These rivers aren’t quite as far as the more well-known streams in the Snowies, but offer ...continue reading Fraser Perry – New alpine waters
Last season I had the pleasure of fishing the Eucumbene River on closing weekend for these lovely Browns. With the NSW Trout season now open, it won't be long before you see some new Eucumbene captures from me on the Riverworks blog.
Fiordland is one of my favourite regions to fly fish in New Zealand. Here's one of my captures from the Fly Junkies 2013 NZ Tour.

The walk in was a challenge ...continue reading Fraser Perry – Thredbo River
